Swimmer Spotlights
Everyone’s swimming journey is unique. Some of us have been swimming competitively for years. Some of us swim solely for fitness. Some of us swim so we can compete in triathlons. Whatever, the reason, getting in the pool for a workout is always rewarding! This month we are spotlighting Ron Sparlin and Martha Tate from the Joplin area. Read all about their swimming adventures here.

Measured Pools in Arkansas
In order to host a masters swim meet, a pool must first be measured and certified through USMS. This is true even if the pool has been certified for USA swim meets. Below is the list of USMS certified pools in our state. We would love to add to this list, so if you swim in a pool NOT listed, please contact us about this process. It’s not hard (if I can do you, you can too!). We would love to have more offerings of meets around the state. Full instructions for this process can be found here.
